How Mindora works
Four steps from your first message to ongoing support.
-
01
Reach out
Create an account on the web portal, or send us a message if you'd like to talk first. WhatsApp and USSD are coming soon.
-
02
Check in and choose
A short wellbeing check-in helps you see where you are. Then browse verified professionals by focus area, language, experience and fee.
-
03
Meet online
Book a time and pay before your session. A secure video link appears in your portal shortly before it starts, and you get an email reminder the day before.
-
04
Continue
Book again with the same professional, message them securely between sessions, and check in whenever you like to see how things are changing.
Common questions
How much does a session cost?
Each professional sets their own fee, and you see it before you book. Student rates are available, and some employers and institutions cover part or all of the cost.
Who are the professionals?
Independent counsellors and psychologists licensed to practise in Kenya. We check each one's licence, national ID and qualifications before they can take bookings.
Is it confidential?
Yes. Your sessions and messages are between you and your professional. If your employer covers your sessions, they only see anonymised totals — never your name.
Is Mindora for emergencies?
No. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 999 or 112, or the Kenya Red Cross on 1199. See all support lines.
